Vaquero Golf – A Defining Experience

In the fall of 2023, Vaquero Club opened its completely redesigned 18-hole golf course, adding two luxurious amenity buildings, and a starter house. Originally crafted by Tom Fazio, the course redesigned by world-renowned Golf Course Architect Andrew Green creates an entirely new experience to enjoy.

The course features wide and bountiful fairways and approaches funneling around the highlighted Pure Distinction Bentgrass greens, which are fully equipped with state-of-the-art hydronic heating and cooling systems. With a plethora of tee setup options players are tasked to explore the best distance for their skill, intentionally adding flexibility in order to provide the best experience. The greens have great character while providing many options for hole locations, challenging players to hit different shots when approaching. The surroundings are complex and thoughtful to yield many ways to recover. With Lazer Zoysia around the putting surfaces the player has the option to pitch, chip, putt, or otherwise move the ball along the ground or air as needed.

This easy-to-walk Par 71 course is designed to gratify golfers of all levels. Players with higher to moderate handicaps enjoy the picturesque fairways, while those hitting from the championship tees find themselves considerably challenged.
